BRIEF HISTORY: The original Octain Company was founded in 1974 in East London. In 2001, the company moved its operation to larger premises in East London, and in 2007 further expansion required re-location to Chelmsford in close proximity to Customs terminals, ports & the national motorway network covering the UK. The company's activities give full in house customs clearance facilities throughout all ports & airports around the U.K.

MISSION STATEMENT: The original and remaining foundation for the company is to offer more personalised freight forwarding & logistics services to organisations of all sizes and private individuals, tailored to meet the customers' requirements.  To offer a real alternative to the routine services previously offered by others. Our customers are real people that we work in partnership with to find the right solutions. To offer the highest levels of service and communication possible.
