Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd. coveted with "AEO-LO Certification".

Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd. are pleased to advise all our friends and business associates that they have been accorded the coveted “AEO-LO Certification” on December 1, 2016, by the AEO Programme Manager, Directorate General of Performance Management, Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, Government of India, New Delhi w.e.f. November 29, 2016.
As all may be already aware, this internationally recognized certification is granted by the Government of India in association with the ‘SAFE Framework of Standards’ of the World Customs Organization (WCO) to secure and facilitate global trade and promoting, inter alia, modern supply chain security standards with the help of a closer partnership between Customs and business.
AEO-LO status, which has been extended to very few Logistics and Supply Chain facilitators in India so far, provides them with the impetus and encouragement to promise more secure, more efficient and responsive service levels of international standards in their quest for excellence.
As a result of this recognition, the Govt. of India provides benefits to the Service Providers which will translate ultimately into better and more efficient services to the exporters and importers in the country, especially those who have themselves got AEO (T1, T2 or T3 category) recognition. Such exporters and importers will find the complimentary services from them essential to fill the gap in their entire AEO Certified Supply Chain.
Those foreign buyers and sellers who insist on AEO certified service providers to handle the consignments will also be able to nominate their shipments from India through Continental Carriers Pvt. Ltd. without disturbing their AEO certified global supply chain.
