| Great Lakes Logistics-Burundi sa. was founded by a former staff of SDV-Transami, currently Bolloré, in 2015 as a branch of a large company located in the United Arab Emirates. Following a strategic orientation, the headquarters decided to close down some of its branches, including Burundi, hence Great Lakes Logistics-Burundi was born as an independent operation. After the creation of the GLL company & motivated by the lack of competitiveness offered by the Burundian logistics market, the founder felt the way to develop was by building partnerships in the region and around the world to better meet the diverse transportation and logistics needs of the marketplace. Thus, by innovation and ambition, Great Lakes Logistics-Burundi now offers solutions to needy clients both locally and internationally. The merit of innovation, accountability, integrity and speed is testified by the interest of the big international organizations like JICA, the representation of the European Union, the projects like Chemonics, IOM, the embassy of South Africa, etc. |
